President & Promotions ChairRandell is from Bloomfield, Iowa and graduated from Davis County High in 2005. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught upper elementary for 5 years and private preschool for 3. Randell and Molly Moore are owners of Benton Avenue Boutique on the Northwest corner of the square in Albia. Randell and her husband, Wes live in Albia and have three sons; Toby, Oliver, and Rory. Together they enjoy spending time golfing, watching movies, and cheering on the Blue Demons. Randell looks forward to becoming more active in the community that her family has found their forever home.

Vice President & Organization ChairScott is a native and life-long resident of Monroe County and a graduate of Albia Community High School. He attended Indian Hills Community College and earned a degree in Computer Systems/Networks and then later attended William Penn University earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude. For the past fifteen years, Scott has spent his career in the insurance industry, first as an insurance agent in Ottumwa and then eventually traveling the state of Iowa performing various marketing functions for insurance companies. Recently, Scott did a mid-career pivot within the financial services industry and is now a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer for Peoples State Bank in Albia. Now that he is working in Albia, he is very excited to jump in and become more involved in the community and its betterment.

Past President & Design ChairAnna is a native of Albia, IA. She graduated from Albia Community Schools in 2012 with honors and continued her education at Indian Hills Community College, receiving an Associates of Art degree in 2014. Anna is the Communications Coordinator at Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative. She and her husband, Jason, stay busy attending Jason’s stock car races, spending time with family, boating and participating in community events.

Board MemberTonia is a native of Albia, graduating from Albia Community High School in 2008 and Indian Hills Community College in 2011 with an Associates of Arts Degree. She also earned her Wedding Planning Certification in 2015 and is currently working on becoming a Certified Florist by the Iowa Florist Association. She and her Husband, Tom, live in town with their son Henry. They purchased the flower shop, Blooms and Things, formerly known as Mike’s Blooms and Things, in May of 2019. Tonia is a member of the local Retail Committee, has been serving as a member of the Chamber Board since 2019 and is currently the Treasurer for the Iowa Florist Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating and learning more about flowers and marketing.

Board MemberJohn is a graduate of NE Missouri State University with a BSE in Industrial Education. Over the past 40 years John has taught school in Knoxville, IA, and he was the past owner of Morrow Enterprises, a Case/IH dealership. He also worked as a licensed real estate appraiser for 13 years. He currently owns Cosby’s U.S. Cellular with locations in both Albia and Centerville, IA. John is a past board member of the Centerville Chamber of Commerce and current President of Main Street Centerville. John was a Boy Scout growing up and is currently a member of the First United Methodist Church as well as the Masonic Lodge and Kaaba Shrine. His hobbies include boating and camping.

Board MemberLinda was raised in Albia and is a graduate of Albia Community Schools. Linda and her husband, Monty, have five children and nine grandchildren. Linda’s career began with the City of Albia in 1990. In 2005 she was appointed City Clerk. Linda’s hobby is raising showing horses and attending grandkids’ events.

Board MemberDoug graduated from Albia Community High School in 2002. He graduated from Indian Hills Community College in 2004 with Associates Arts / Science and 3D Virtual Reality Degree. Doug and his wife Crystal have three children and have been long-time members of the community. Doug is an owner in several businesses including KMA Steel / Krazy Metal Art, Wolfer Construction, and Wolfer Properties. Doug supports many Albia youth athletic and creative arts programs in the community. He is also an active member of his church, St. Mary’s. Doug enjoys hobbies such as golf, bowling, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Doug is seeking membership as a Chamber of Commerce board member because he wants to be part of a group who works to strengthen and support local businesses within the community. He believes Albia is a very supportive community and a great place to grow a strong and healthy business.
